Appal Jam Terrain Park was created two seasons ago and is home to the signature stairset, as well as any number of rails, boxes, & jumps, with several fun line possibilities. This terrain park also leads riders into Candied Appal, which during non-peak periods will be stocked with smaller rails, boxes, bonks, jumps, and more. This is where you can flow some great lines the whole run down.
Appaljack Terrain Park was the first park introduced at Appalachian Ski Mtn in '99. This park typically features larger tabletops towards the base, and a variety of solid rails, boxes, and smaller jump options elsewhere. Snow holds up exceptionally well in this park, and setups will stay in great condition until the end of the season.
The National Ski Areas Association and Burton Snowboards have developed the “Smart Style” Freestyle Terrain Safety initiative, a cooperative effort to continue the proper use and progression of freestyle terrain at mountain resorts.
App Terrain Park advises all riders to “Know the Code” before entering the parks. A safe park is a happy park. Please read the safety guidelines provided at TerrainParkSafety.Org
