App Terrain Park and App Ski Mtn are excited to announce the lineup of events for the coming season!
From beginning to end, this winter will be jam packed with more diverse, unique, and fun events than ever before.
Look for the Shred For The Cup Series to be back again for its 8th season (wow, its been that long?!) with 3 benchmark events testing park riders all around skill in multiple disciplines – Rail Jam, Big Air, and Slopestyle. Lots of sponsor support for this series means tons of prizes are up for grabs. As always, points will be tallied to determine who the overall park champions are for the season.
Fresh Fridays will be held throughout the winter, each of which will feature a theme (Gaper Day will rise again!) and a unique twist from each title sponsor. K2 will be back partnering with a Pop This! the Guys at SPY are brainstorming some crazy ideas for a Fresh Friday right now, and a final FF in March will bring in the spring with a fun setup and concept.
ATP will feature 2 Ladies Park Sessions this season. These will be hosted by Burton & Roxy respectively, and will provide Girls of all age and abilities with even more options and features than ever before.
The Burton Riglet Park Tour will be coming back to ATP this season, offering dedicated park fundamental instruction for children age 2 – 6.
Recess Ride Shop will be presenting the signature Wreck Less Rail Jam again this season, which is always a great time, and highlights not only some creative and inspiring park features, but progressive formats that stray from the normal 3 drop formula.
Boarder / Skiercross this year anyone? Oh yea!
Our friends at Never Summer are coming back to NC for another Signature Feature Photo Jam Contest – basically all you need to do is show up and ride for this one, and get a chance to win a NS board!
Our Alpine Ski Shop will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Jam for the second season – bring your green hat!
And to top it all off (as if there wasn’t enough already) the Meltdown Games will cap off a busy and fun season at ATP with laid back and fun events including: Pond Skim, Big Air, Impossible Rail/Box/Combo, and more.
You know what? We might even throw in a first day event of some sort to celebrate the season!
