Well, that does it for the 10th year of our signature Shred for the Cup Series! Over the years, we have seen all sorts of different setups for these events, as well as all kinds of weather. This last event of the 2016 series was no different, with a forecast for “light rain” that ended up being a pretty steady downpour for the duration of the event. That didn’t stop over 60 competitors from sessioning the course non-stop and putting down tons of tricks and solid lines through the entire course. From beginner skiers and riders hitting the large jump, to advanced riders linking some heavy tricks with solid landings, the talent in all categories impressed for sure. In the end, the judges put style above rotations for all categories, with Mr Kellan Baker ended up taking the win for Advanced Skiers, and Jack Reid claiming 1st for Advanced Snowboarders.
